UAE Air Force Mirage 2000 fighter jets operations at Nellis Air Force Base

Six United Arab Emirates 2000 fighter jets participated in Red Flag 13-2 held at Nellis AFB from Jan. 21 to Feb. 1, 2013.

These aircraft, 708 and 710 Mirage 2000-9DAD, and 729, 731, 783, 763 Mirage 2000EAD aircraft, could not be photographed during the RF 13-2 Media Day photoshoot.

However, following completion of RF 13-2 these aircraft took part in Green Flag; oddly, there were no restrictions imposed to photographers on the UAE planes during the Media Day held on Feb. 27, 2013.

Supported by two UAE C-17 cargo planes, the Mirage 2000 were reportedly tasked with strike packages escort missions.
