A RAF Lakenheath-based HH-60G Pave Hawk, a helicopter used for combat search and rescue, to recover downed aircrew or personnel in hostile environment at war, crashed off the north Norfolk coast.
The helicopter, belonging to the 56th Rescue Squadron with the 48th Fighter Wing, was involved in an incident during a training mission outside Cley-Next-The-Sea.
Based on the first reports, four crew members aboard the helicopter died in the incident.
